General Terms of Use and Information

Purpose

These terms set out the use of the aventuredevie.com website and the framework under which Aventure de Vie informs and advises you about its tours. They do not constitute the terms and conditions of sale: those are specific to the professional who sells you the trip (see section 2).

The Role of Aventure de Vie

Aventure de Vie designs travel itineraries in Asia, promotes them, and ensures their quality execution in partnership with local partners.

Aventure de Vie is neither a travel agency nor a tour operator. It does not sell trips nor accept any payments. The trip is sold, organized and payment collected by an authorized professional:

• If you live in New Caledonia : the agency Let’s Go NC, licensed tour operator, 94B413799, 7 rue du Général Sarrail, 98800 Noumea.
• If you live outside New Caledonia : the local inbound agencies that organize the tour in the destination country, named in your proposal.

The travel contract is entered into directly between you and this professional. Their terms and conditions are provided to you before any booking and apply exclusively to your trip.

Information Presented on the Site

Descriptions, itineraries, photos, and videos are provided for information and inspiration only. They do not constitute a contractual offer.

Prices are shown as “from”, per person, for guidance only. They depend on the date, group size, exchange rates, and availability. Only the seller’s quotation is binding.

Itineraries may be adjusted on site for weather, safety, local festivals, or other external reasons, in keeping with the spirit of the tour. We update the website carefully, but cannot guarantee it is entirely error-free; please let us know if you find any inaccurate information.

Requesting Information and Booking

1. You contact us via the contact form, by email or WhatsApp, or meet us at an event.
2. We discuss your wishes, dates, and budget, and guide you towards the most suitable tour or a customized option.
3. You receive a quote and the seller’s terms and conditions.
4. Your booking is confirmed once you sign their contract and pay the deposit directly to them.

A request sent through the site does not commit you to anything and is not a booking.

Payment

All payments (deposit and balance) are made directly to the seller, according to their contract terms.

Aventure de Vie will never ask you to make a payment to its own account, by a link received by email or private message. If you have any doubts about a payment request, contact us before making any payment at gilles.maviet@gmail.com.

Changes and Cancellations

Any change or cancellation of a booked trip is governed by the seller’s terms and conditions, and any applicable fees are payable directly to them. We remain available to help facilitate communication with them.

Formalities, Health and Insurance

Each traveller is responsible for their own documents: a passport valid at least six months beyond return, visa, vaccinations and recommended treatments. Our information is for guidance only; please check with the relevant authorities before departure.

Some tours require good physical fitness (such as walking, altitude, or basic conditions in Mongolia). The level is specified in each description. Please inform us of any health issues, allergies, or special requirements before booking.

Travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses and repatriation is mandatory prior to departure.

Liability

The seller is responsible for carrying out the tour in accordance with their contract and the applicable law.

Aventure de Vie is responsible for the information it publishes and the advice it gives, and undertakes to provide these with care. It cannot be held liable for any temporary website interruptions or the content of third-party sites it links to. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you by law as a consumer in your country of residence.

Complaints

During your trip, report any problem immediately to your guide or the local agency, so that a solution can be found on site.

After your trip, please submit your complaint in writing to the selling professional, with a copy to Aventure de Vie at contact@aventuredevie.com. We will act as an intermediary and reply within 15 days.

Personal data

The information you provide via the contact form, by email or WhatsApp (name, contact details, dates, preferences, any health information relevant to your trip) is used solely to respond to your request and prepare your trip. It is shared only with the selling professional and relevant service providers, and is never sold or used for any other purpose without your consent.

Your data is kept for as long as needed for your travel plans and for one year after our last exchange. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting gilles.maviet@aventuredevie.com. If you subscribe to our newsletter, you can unsubscribe with a single click.

Cookies

This website uses cookies required for its operation and, with your consent, cookies for audience measurement and social media. You can accept, refuse or manage these cookies at any time via the dedicated banner or your browser settings.

Intellectual property

All texts, photos, videos, logo, and tour itineraries on this website are the property of Aventure de Vie or their respective authors. Any reproduction or use, even partial, without written permission is prohibited.

We only publish travelers’ photos with their permission. You may withdraw this consent at any time; your photo will then be deleted.

External links

This website may link to third-party sites (social networks, partners, practical information). Aventure de Vie has no control over their content.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms. The applicable version is the one published on the website at the date of your visit or request.

Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. The travel contract is governed by the law stated in the selling professional’s contract.

If a disagreement arises, we always prioritize an amicable solution. You still have the right to appeal to a consumer mediator or the competent courts in your country of residence.
